Now, of Australia's top 10 best selling cars in August 2010, these five car makers had, as we have stated, models that made the list. These models were not all the best of what the companies had to offer when it comes to low air pollutants and greenhouse effects, but the car models that had at least 3 1/2 star rating were as follows:

#4 - Hyundai i30 with 5 stars
#5 - Ford Falcon with 3 1/2 stars
#6 - Holden Cruze with 3 1/2 stars
#7 - Toyota Hilux 4x4 with 4 stars
#8 - Mitsubishi Lancer with 4 stars
#9 - Toyota Camry with 4 stars
#10 - Hyundai Getz with 5 stars
